- About Us
Developing security solutions in the Age of Cloud Computing is a very innovative field and we have many ideas on how we can help you protect your data. Especially a security software needs to be well designed, implemented and tested before being released to the general public. We are strong believers in the importance of involving our users in the development process and gathering their feedback as early as possible – our product development is driven by our users’ feedback. Therefore, we created this "Boxcryptor Labs" space, where advanced and interested Boxcryptor users can get early access to technology and prototypes we are developing and share their direct feedback with us.
As with many early access software and prototypes, everything presented here is "work-in-progress". Although everything is being tested by us, please be aware that it is beta (or even alpha) software and not a stable release. Unexpected problems may occur so please make sure you have made a backup before using the software presented here to be able to restore your data correctly.
Thank you for your support,
The Boxcryptor Team
UPDATE 08/18/2015: We released the stable version of Boxcryptor 2.2 today. Please do not use the Release Candidate anymore and upgrade to our official Boxcryptor 2.2 version.
For Windows 10 users, we have a release candidate of Boxcryptor very close to the final release.
Don’t hesitate to drop your feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org to help us delivering a stable version as soon as possible.
Please be aware that it is a release candidate and not a stable release. Unexpected problems may occur anytime so please make sure you have a backup before using the software to be able to restore your data correctly.
Known issue: Read operations may fail with "Cancelled" in very rare cases. (e.g. on checking out a Git repository)
